Father, Son Killed and another Son Critically Injured in a Shooting
Three men from the same family gunned down at 9th and Bancroft around 3:45 a.m. Monday. The father and one of his sons did not survive and his other son is barely hanging on.

Omaha, NE – Three men from the same family gunned down at 9th and Bancroft around 3:45 a.m. Monday. The father and one of his sons did not survive and his other son is barely hanging on.
16-year-old Jose Avalos died at the scene and his father 44-year-old Miguel Avalos died at the hospital earlier Monday morning.
Another teenage son, 18-year-old Miguel Avalos Jr. is at Nebraska Medical Center in critical condition.
Omaha Police have been on the scene for over 14 hours investigating. They are trying to figure out why someone opened fire on the family.
Police aren’t sure if this shooting is gang-related and they don’t have any suspects at this time.
