Donation Drive to Support Foster Youth
The Independent Living Donation Center, known as “Youth Mart,” is a donation center for former foster youth ages 16 to 24. This initiative came about from an identified need by former foster youth at the Eastern Service Area Youth Permanency Summit. Youth Mart will host its Spring Donation Drive on Saturday, April 26th from 10am - 3pm at the Omaha Home for Boys Campus (4343 N. 52nd Street). Items needed: Household items and furniture for former foster youth living independently in the community. Examples of items needed include: couches, loveseats, arm chairs, dressers, bed frames, new mattresses, microwaves, vacuums, small appliances and household goods such as pots and pans, dishes, lamps, etc. Contact Tierra O’Neal with questions or for additional details at (402) 457-7031 or TO’firstname.lastname@example.org.
