MCC celebrates Martin Luther King Jr.

Metropolitan Community College will honor the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at the 29th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration. Dr. Myra Gordon, associate professor of psychology and associate provost for diversity at Kansas State University, will deliver the keynote address. Gordon has more than 30 years of combined experience studying, teaching and promoting multiculturalism, equity, diversity, internationalization and women’s leadership in higher education and has received many awards for her work. The event is open to the public. Seating is limited. To make a reservation, call 402-457-5231. Reservations close when full or on Jan. 8; no tickets or payments at the door. Refunds will not be given after Jan. 8.
