3rd Annual Turkey Trot Set for Thanksgiving Morning at Turner Park 

Joslyn Castle Trust is sponsoring the third annual Turkey Trot 5K Walk/Run event on Thanksgiving Morning, November 28, at Midtown Crossing at Turner Park.  

 

The event welcomes families and friends, as well as serious runners, to kick off the holidays and bank a few calories for the Thanksgiving Day meal.  

 

The race begins in Turner Park at Midtown Crossing and will follow a new and improved route through the Field Club neighborhood. Courtesy of Wohlner’s at Midtown Crossing, runners will also have a chance to win a Turducken – boneless chicken stuffed into a boneless duck, stuffed into a boneless turkey. 

 

Registration is $30 per person through 6 p.m. November 26. Registration can also be completed for $35 per person at packet pickup or at the race site. Packet pickup will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. November at Joslyn Castle, and registration at the site will begin at 7:30 a.m. The trot will begin at 9 a.m. All proceeds benefit the Joslyn Castle.
