Grace University’s 16th Annual Band and Orchestra Festival Free Concert

Grace University’s 16th annual Band and Orchestra Festival is Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. in the Burkholder Center on the campus at 810 Pine St. in Omaha. The concert features the Grace University Community Concert Band conducted by Jeff James. The special guest is Orchestra Omaha with Kenneth Meintz, music director. Also joining the event are Omaha Homeschool Advanced Orchestra, Blue Ridge Christian High School Band, Omaha Homeschool Advanced Band, Omaha Christian Academy Band, and Lincoln Christian High School Orchestra. The event is free and open to the public. Grace University, located in Omaha, Neb., is a regionally accredited, private Christian university with more than 40 diverse undergraduate, graduate and adult degree completion programs including education, business, psychology, music, nursing and Christian ministries. The university’s mission is to develop servant leaders for the home, the church and the world through excellence in biblically integrated education.
