Grace University Counseling Center ribbon-cutting and open house
Grace University is celebrating the opening of the new Grace University Counseling Center and the relocation of the College of Graduate Studies to the South Campus. The celebration is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 18. The ribbon-cutting is at 2 p.m. and an open house will follow from 2:30-6 p.m. at the South Campus located at 825 Dorcas St. The Grace University Counseling Center provides free and low-cost counseling to the community. As part of their student practicum, graduate-level counseling students work under the direct supervision of licensed faculty to serve clients, providing excellent counseling services at no cost to the community. Grace University faculty, who are licensed counselors and licensed private counselors, also serve clients through a tiered fee structure at the Grace University Counseling Center. Grace University, located in Omaha, Neb., is a regionally accredited, private Christian university with more than 40 diverse undergraduate, graduate and adult degree completion programs including education, business, psychology, music, nursing and Christian ministries.
