"The Children of Domestic Violence" Screening and Panel Discussion
In conjunction with Domestic Violence Awareness Month the Domestic Violence Council is presenting a special screening of "The Children Next Door". A panel discussion immediately follows with the Executive Producer of the film, Brain F. Martin, he is also Founder and CEO of the organization Children of Domestic Violence, Chelsea Waldroup featured in the documentary, Heather Duhachek Generation Hope Counseling and Ryan Alan Suhr of Lutheran Family Services. The documentary provides a unique and powerful look at domestic violence that recounts the fear and pain through the eyes of children. It's a young family's journey to uncover the truth that lies beneath the cycle of violence and the solution to end it. Tickets for the film and discussion are $25. Seating is limited so purchase your tickets early. Private Reception A private reception with Brian and Chelsea will be held 5:30 - 6:30pm in Aksarben Village. We hope you will take advantage of the opportunity to personally greet Brian and Chelsea. Tickets for the private reception are $125. Limited to 20 participants. This includes food, beverage and reserved seating for the film and panel discussion.
