The Omaha Section - National Council of Negro Women is having its annual Mary McLeod Bethune Awards Luncheon on Saturday, August 17, 2013, at 11:00 a.m., at the KROC Center, 2825 Y Street, Omaha, NE. The keynote speaker this year is Dr. Cynthia Robinson, Associate Professor—Communications, University of Nebraska-Omaha. The mission of the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW) is to lead, develop and advocate for women of African descent as they support their families and communities.
