Walk to Keep Nebraskans Healthy and Help Nebraska Kidney Patients The Omaha Kidney Walk will be held Sunday, June 2, 2013 at Towl Park, 93rd & Center. Registration is at noon and the walk follows at 12:30 p.m. There is no cost to register, but those donating or raising $30 will receive a T-shirt and there are additional prizes for those raising additional funds. All proceeds from the event will help the Nebraska Kidney Association provide programs and services to our Nebraska friends and neighbors suffering from kidney disease, including free early disease detection screenings throughout the state, emergency financial assistance for patients and their families, free medical alert jewelry for kidney and transplant patients and educational programs for patients, the general public and medical professionals. Because the Nebraska Kidney Association is a local and independent association, 100% of all the money raised stays in Nebraska.
