“Legends, Lovers and Liars” take the hits as “Nebraska’s Rat Pack” takes the stage at the Holland Performing Arts Center in downtown Omaha. The 56th annual Omaha Press Club Show is slated for Thursday, April 4-- two days after the city’s primary election. Newsmakers including candidates for mayor, join media and stage personalities in a 1960’s-themed spoof of politics and life in the Big O in a new setting this year. “Nebraska’s Rat Pack” includes Michael Lyon, Jeff Shields and D. Kevin Williams in the show’s version of Frank, Dean and Sammy.  Directing the event this year is husband-wife team Keith Allerton and Rebecca Noble. Sue (Baggarly) and Steve Seline are honorary chairs. Steve is president and CEO of Walnut Private Equity Partners, LLC. Sue, was part of the OPC Show cast in the early 1990s. The Thursday event starts at 5:30 pm with no-host cocktails in the new Ovations lounge, followed by dinner and a nightclub-style show in the Walter and Suzanne Scott Recital Hall. Entertainment during cocktails includes the silky strains of Nigel P. Hall on the piano. Highlights this year are the Dazzling Diamond and Sensational Wine & Spirits raffle experience. Winners in the Dazzling Diamond raffle – with its grand reveal just before the start of the show – will go home with stunning diamond and gemstone pieces from Elisa Ilana Jewelry, courtesy of Omaha’s queen of dazzle, Laurie Langdon.
