The Culinary Department at Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs, Iowa will be hosting the second annual Missouri River Valley Taste of Elegance Competition on Monday March 11, 2013. This competition will be a showcase of the most talented chefs in a six state area. The Taste of Elegance is sponsored by the Iowa Pork Producers and will have substantial prizes for the winners. The Taste of Elegance Competition is a way to encourage white tablecloth restaurants to add pork entrees to their menus and highlight the versatility of pork.
