The public is invited to a reception for the exhibition, Stations, on Thursday, February 7 from 5 – 7 p.m. at the Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts. The reception will be held in conjunction with a First Thursday Open Studio event. In addition to exhibiting artist, Robert Miller, being on-hand to discuss his work, KHN’s current artists-in-residence, Matthew Clark (writer), Mai Wang (writer) Garrick Imatani (visual artist), and Lauren Whalen (writer) will open their studios and share their work with visitors. Readings will begin at 6 p.m. The Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts is located at 801 3rd Corso in Nebraska City. The open studio event is free, handicapped accessible, and open to the public.
