The public can shop for holiday gifts and support education opportunities for Omaha students at the same time on Saturday, Dec. 8 when the University of Nebraska at Omaha’s (UNO) Women’s Club hosts its Winter Wonderland Boutique Fundraiser. The fundraising event, which runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Mammal Hall, 6708 Pine St., will feature a wide array of vendors selling jewelry, glass art, handcrafted purses, custom tennis shows, cookies, candies and more. An optional brunch will also be served at the event for $10, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the UNO Women’s Club Scholarship Fund, which benefits non-traditional female students.
