The Home Run Foundation of Greater Omaha's Hot Stove Banquet Presented by Lee Sapp will be held on November 8 at the Embassy Suites in La Vista. Former Major League and Omaha Royals second baseman Harold Reynolds will be the guest speaker with part of the proceeds going to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund. The event will begin at 5:30 pm with a VIP reception and will be followed at 6 pm by a cocktail hour and silent auction. A seated dinner will start at 7:15 and feature awards handed out by the JDRF as well as the Home Run Foundation and a speech by Reynolds, who is currently a lead analyst at the Major League Baseball Network.
