On Friday, October 21, Scissori’s Salon and Skincare Loft (11979 Blondo St.) will host a special “Pink Friday” event to raise money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation and the UNMC Eppley Cancer Center to support breast cancer research.

The event, which runs from 6-9 p.m., will feature a variety of specials including pink hair extensions, $20 haircuts, $15 styles, make-up demonstrations, a special ‘pink’ nail polish application, chair massages, refreshments, and a raffle for prizes including spa treatments, Omaha Symphony tickets, restaurant gift cards, beauty products, and more! “My mother is a breast cancer survivor, so this cause is very special to me and the Salon,” said Tina Spencer, owner of Scissori’s. “We hope everyone will come out for a fun evening to be pampered, try some new products and support a great cause.”
