Kim joined the Action 3 News Team in January 2013. She is so excited to call the Midwest home again, and can't wait see everything Omaha has to offer.

She comes to KMTV from KERO in Bakersfield, California. Kim spent 2 1/2 years there as a reporter and weekend anchor.
She graduated in May 2010 from The Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Political Science.
Kim started her career at KAET’s Cronkite NewsWatch, ASU’s live daily newscast, where she was a reporter and weather anchor.
She was also an online and radio reporter while at the Cronkite School. Her reporting has earned her a Hearst Journalism Award and an award from the Society of Professional Journalists.

Before moving west, Kim lived in Boston, St. Louis and Chicago.
When Kim isn’t working, she enjoys traveling, photography, visiting family and friends, watching sports and following politics. She loves football and baseball. Her teams are the St. Louis Cardinals and the New England Patriots. And she still loves all things ASU.
