Omaha, NE - A pet detective helps solve the case of the missing dog in southwest Omaha.
On Sunday, crews including Karen Tarkwin and her search dog team hit the area near the new Super Target in Millard. They were searching for Lacey, a Wheaton terrier that ran away eight days ago. She was freed from a puppy mill just a month before running away.
"They're not used to being pets," says Alma Knoll. "They're not used to people and get very afraid."
As of Sunday night everyone was back home, including Lacey. Her foster family being very careful not to give her anymore escape routes.
