Sarpy County, NE - Well over the anticipated amount of voters came out to cast their vote and have their voices heard in Sarpy County on Saturday.
"I don't think they ever anticipated this many people, but I think it's awesome this many people are involved," said voter Tiffanie Gauchat.
A sea of Nebraska Democrats packed into the gym at Papillion La Vista South High School. Organizers only expected about 500 people at this caucus site . The county chairman says 6,000 showed up.
Plenty were putting their support behind Hillary Clinton. "I'm supporting Hillary because I think it's high time we have a woman in office," said Gauchat.
"I think she has the experience that's necessary to lead our country," said Loretta Pillard.
Meanwhile, Barack Obama supporters came out in the thousands. "I think this country needs a fresh start," said Susan Tafini. "I think this country is more than ready for change."
While many knew who they were backing ahead of time, some weren't so sure. "I want to find out more about it before I make a decision," said one undecided voter.
That's where the caucus process took over. A group of Obama supporters quickly convinced her to vote for him.
