Plattsmouth, NE - Little Devon was brutalized by his own father when he was just 7 weeks old.  Now his life is a struggle. Action 3 News has discovered that his father, Ryan Brackett, will get out of prison on Saturday morning.  He served five years for shaking his son so hard, the boy has permanent brain damage.

Devon will never walk, or do anything on his own.

Last year when Brackett was up for a parole hearing Devon's step-father pleaded with the board to keep him in.  The parole board denied his release. 

Authorities tell us Brackett is now set to be released from Cass County Jail Saturday at 8:00 am.  The news has Devon's family worried and seeking a protection order, to keep Brackett away from them.
