Sheila Brummer

Sheila Brummer grew up on a farm in western Iowa and was crowned the 4-County Fair Queen for Harrison, Shelby, Monona, and Crawford counties in the 1980's.

Sheila first appeared on KMTV almost 30 years ago when she and her three younger sisters would send their masterpiece artwork to the children's show Jeans Story Time.
In high school, Sheila excelled in music; playing clarinet and saxophone for a state championship jazz band. She attended college at Buena Vista in Storm Lake, Iowa and Edge Hill University in England before graduating from Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa.
She started her broadcasting career "behind the scenes" in TV & radio production. Not only did she spin tunes, but she also dressed up as the station's mascot, "The Super Pig."

In the 1990s Sheila got her first job in TV news in front of the camera. She worked for KTIV in Sioux City, Iowa as a photographer, editor and reporter. Sheila's next two jobs took her to Wausau, Wisconsin and Des Moines, Iowa where she was the morning anchor at WAOW and then KCCI.

Sheila always dreamed of working in Omaha and moved here 4 years ago to work as an anchor and reporter for WOWT. In 2008, the Nebraska Associated Press awarded Sheila 1st place for general assignment reporting. "Her" Magazine also recognized Sheila for her contributions to the community with a cover shoot and feature piece.

Sheila is married to designer and musician Ed Antone. They live in Midtown with their rowdy cat B.B. Sheila enjoys live music, volunteering and classic movie actor Montgomery Clift (who was born in Omaha).
