Omaha, NE - The driver accused of the crash that killed Josie Bluhm is being held on one-million dollars bond.

Eleazar Rangel-Ochoa pleaded not guilty Friday.  He is accused of running a red light just before hitting the Bluhm family's van.

"My client is really devastated by this situation," says his attorney, Joseph Lopez Wilson.  "It's a very unfortunate incident.  He is not a father but he's got young family members and just totally devastated by it. I don't know if you see his demeanor in the courtroom."

Lopez Wilson told the judge his client was late for work Tuesday morning.  His truck collided with a van driven by Josie's mother, she and two other young children were also injured.

Rangel Ochoa is charged with misdemeanor motor vehicle homicide and felony driving with a suspended license.  He has four DUI convictions on his driving record, his driver's license had been revoked twice.  He was denied a state ID in 2004 when the DMV discovered he had a fake social security number. Rangel Ochoa is not a legal resident of the United States.
